At NORA, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI receptionist service, website, and related applications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us when creating an account, setting up your salon profile, or communicating with us. This may include your name, email address (including haroon@norareception.com), phone number, and business details.

Additionally, our AI receptionist collects call recordings, transcripts, and contact information of the customers calling your salon in order to facilitate bookings and provide summaries.

2. Google Workspace & Google Calendar Data

If you connect your Google Calendar to NORA, our service requests access to view, create, edit, and delete events on your authorized Google Calendars. This access is strictly used to synchronize your booking appointments, block out unavailable times, and manage your salon schedule via our AI receptionist.

  • Adherence to Limited Use Policy: NORA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • No Selling or Sharing: We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google user data to third parties, except as strictly necessary to facilitate the calendar integration requested by you, or to comply with applicable laws. We never use Google user data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling.
  • No Human Access: We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have obtained your explicit consent for troubleshooting, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), or we are required to do so under applicable law.
  • Data Deletion: You can disconnect NORA's access to your Google account at any time via your dashboard settings or by removing NORA's permissions in your Google Security settings. Upon disconnection, we will securely delete all associated Google OAuth tokens and stop accessing your Google data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our AI receptionist and booking services.
  • Process bookings, manage calendars, and send SMS/email reminders.
  • Improve, personalize, and expand our services.
  • Communicate with you regarding updates, support, and billing.

4. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (such as calendar systems, SMS gateways, and hosting providers) as necessary to perform our services. We implement robust security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.
